Archive old press releases with original time/date to your homepage and/or Cision News

- Click on Releases – CREATE RELEASE
- Click on PROFILE and use your profile for Archive/Backdate. If you don’t have a profile yet you can have a look at this guide on how to create a new profile.
- Choose language
- Choose Cision News and My Website ( My Website is only visible if you have a connection to your website.) Choose ONLY these 2 recipients.
- Click on NEXT
- Click on IMPORT WORD DOCUMENT ( If you don’t have your release in word you can simply copy and paste från your document to Cisionpoint)
- Click on CHOOSE FILE
- Choose your word document and click on Open
- Click on IMPORT
- Your text is now imported to the Body text
Move the headline(mandatory field) and the Lead paragraph (optional field).
TIP! If you use the function ”Heading” in word, the headline will be imported automatically into the headline field.
- If you want to add attachments click on ADD ATTACHMENTS
- Upload a file from your computer by clicking on UPLOAD FILES
- Click on CHOOSE FILE
- Choose a file from your computer and click on Open
- Click on UPLOAD FILES
- The file is now marked, click on ADD TO RELEASE
- Further down on this page you will find separate fields for contact details and about us. These fields are used when you don’t have that information in the body text. You can also add tags, quotes, quick facts and links on Cision News.
- Click on NEXT
- Review your release and the choises you made
- Click on PUBLISH SETTINGS
- Click on Scheduled and pick the original date and time for the release
- Click on CONFIRM
- Check the date and time, then click on YES
- Take the code you’ll get (SMS and email) and enter it. Click on CONFIRM
- Your release has been handled. Click on OK
- Done!
