How to use the Regional Mapping function

The Regional Mapping tool is an interactive map from which you can search by postcode, town, region & county, or by dragging over any specific area to designate your own selection. 

Regional Mapping can be accessed either by selecting Database Search from the Media Database tab and then clicking it on the grey splash-screen, or by selecting Country and Region from the Media Outlet search criteria. 

Once selected you can either use the relevant boxes to start your search or you can click the magnifying glass icon, which will turn the cursor into a crosshair and allow you to drag-and-select an area. 

Quick Tip: Only use the first half of the Postcode when using the postcode search!

Once an area is selected results will be displayed on the right. The Reach button can be used will show the areas in which a publication is distributed. To add results to a list simply check the ones you would like to add and hit Save. From here they will be added to the search results page, which is navigated to by clicking the search button as usual.
