Viewing Facebook Mentions with Statistics

Modified on: Fri, 27 Jan, 2023 at 12:43 PM

If your account is set up to monitor specific Facebook pages for relevant mentions, you will see not only the text content of the mention but also comments relevant to your monitoring made to the post. To see what Cision specifically monitors on Facebook, click here. If you have connected a Facebook account to your Cision Communications Cloud, you will be able to see any images used in the post and statistics for the post, such as Likes, Comments, and Shares.

  1. Click on a  Facebook mention from the News results area.  A profile for the post will show in the righthand panel.
  2. The View Source button will open the post on Facebook using a separate browser window.
  3. The text contents and any related imagery of the Facebook mention will be displayed.
  4. Under the text of the mention, you will see Social Statistics, including Likes,  Comments, and Shares.
  5. You will see relevant comments displayed if a mention relevant to your monitoring terms has been made in the comment(s).
